After having my impact driver along with 3 batteries nicked two weeks back, I’ve bought a full set of new power tools! Exciting!

Maybe not. I’d much rather have not spent the money, but I use the impact driver on an almost daily basis, and the cost of replacing it with the three batteries was only £200 shy of all that clobber ^

3x 4.0ah lithium-ion batteries

If any UK Oppos are interested, I’ve got some 18v (pod type) and 240v DeWalt gear to flog?

If only Land Rovers weren’t so easy to steal, I’d bolt them in! I was thinking about making an improvised explosive ink device, putting it in an empty case, and leaving it in the car where the gear got stolen last time. Probably illegal, no?

Did those boxes come with the tools or was that a separate purchase? I really want to get my circular saw a proper box. The canvas bag worries me.

It seems pretty strong, and the fact that it’s one; a standard size and two; stacks and locks together is really useful. Bit pricey though on their own.

Always nice to get new tools, too bad it had to happen because of a dick. May the batteries explode in his boot.

Cordless impact drivers may be the greatest invention in all of human history. Probably not, but since I got one of those I rarely use a cordless drill. Only when I need to drill a hole using a bit that doesn’t fit in the impact driver which is pretty rarely.
